Introduction

RustChat is a secured chat that supports standalone deployment. The data is entirely managed by the user, supporting end-to-end encryption. We are an international and remote team, with contributors from the United States, China, Brazil, and other regions. Core contributors in the team include alumni from `MIT` and members of a `Stanford` startup organization.

Installation
You can install the Rustchat server by running the following command on Linux, MacOS, Windows, NAS.
docker run -it --rm --init \
-p 3000:3000 \
--name rustchat-server \
rustchat/rustchat-server:latest

After starting the server, it will listen to port 3000 by default. You can manage it via http://localhost:3000/


The default admin login credentials are: admin@rustchat.com / 123456
